| Do you agree with the new rules for training on Dartmoor? What about the rule that says you can only train over two weekends on the North Moor? |

| What's the rationale behind that one? Given that the North Moors seem to cause the teams most problems, I'd have thought it would have made more sense to do MORE training there, not less. Are they putting it down to environmental impact, or safety? |

As I understand it its for environmental reasons. There have been some significant changes to the bird nesting areas this year.
The main areas are; Yes Tor
Steeperton
Hangingstone Hill
Lynch Tor
Little Kneeset/Rough Tor
Longaford Tor
Swelltor Quarry
Headland Warren
The maps can be found here
Four tors have also been taken off the event routes this year due to bird nesting. |
